Student Resources

Emotional Support Services

Northpoint is committed to playing a significant role in the process of developing leaders that exhibit health in all life domains including emotional health and beyond. This is accomplished in part through modeling in the classroom, access to professors and faculty for counsel, chapel services, course content, and guest lecturers and events designed to facilitate growth in a variety of areas. We realize that for a variety of students, additional needs may arise that exceed the school’s ability and expertise in the area of mental health. With that in mind, we are working on compiling resources that may be of value to students who are struggling with mental health concerns, interpersonal relationships, and life situations that are providing overwhelm or discomfort.

The options below are provided to help direct Northpoint students to need-appropriate care with generally like-minded persons and organizations who have demonstrated excellence in both their abilities and their reputations. Please note that Northpoint does not maintain a personal relationship with all of the referenced providers, we receive no remuneration in any form, and we cannot affirm that there is a complete overlap in our overall beliefs and perspectives.
